This was his first Hundred in the test career of Grant Flower and it was his highest score in interested cricket. It came against a very good Pakistan bowling attack and he was not out. He faced 523 balls meaning 87 overs and he only hit 11 fours and 1 six in this innings meaning 50 runs in boundaries. He had to run for 150 of his runs. This one innings by Grant Flower was enough to establish him as the next superstar In world cricket. He was like a rock and as a result Zimbabwe won this test match by an innings and 64 runs.

2) 104 and 151 vs New Zealand (1997)


This was the match where he hit centuries in both innings of this test match and he was the standout performer in this drawn test match. In the first batting innings of Zimbabwe he made a brilliant 104 from 288 balls. He had a strike rate of 36.11 and he hit 10 fours in the first innings. This was just the start as in the second batting innings he stepped it up a notch. Zimbabwe made 311 in the second innings and Grant Flower made 252 of them.
