329* vs India (2012)


This is the best batting performance by Michael Clarke in his entire international career and it vaje against India in 2012 when Australia were a different beast. He came to bat at number 5 and from there he went on to show an exhibition in batsmanship as he hit 39 fours and 1 six in his innings which means a total of 162 runs in boundaries and he hit 329* in 468 balls at a strike rate of over 70 which is extraordinary for a score over 300. The Indian bowlers were helpless and were hoping for him to declare the innings himself. This was a really special batting effort.

259* vs South Africa (2012)


The year 2012 looks like it belonged to Michael Clarke as he has his second performance in this list from the same year and this time it came against a much better bowling attack and that time in South Africa. He was merciless in this innings as he hit 26 fours and in just 398 balls at a strike rate of 65+ he hit 259* and broke the back of the South Africa bowling lineup. This was a special batting effort to watch and luckily it was not India this time around.


148 vs England (2013)


It was the Ashes in 2013 and Michael Clarke stepped up for Australia and made a brilliant 148 which in the end turned out to be match winning for Australia. At that time the England bowling attack was very good as well with Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson at the lead and Clarke hit 17 fours in this innings which lasted 245 balls and he was the man who helped Australia to a good score in the first innings which led to them winning this test match by 210 runs.

103* vs Pakistan (2005)


The first batting performance from his ODI career is the innings he played against Pakistan when they had one of the best attacks in the world and Australia were chasing a modest target of 164 to chase in the second innings. Michael Clarke came out to open the Innings and he hit a blistering century in just 107 balls and he hit 14 fours and 1 six and he took Australia home with ease in the end by 9 wickets. This was his second ODI hundred as well.


99* vs England (2010)


The last performance that we will be talking about is this 99* that he made vs England in 2020 and although this was not a hundred but ur was worth more. Michael Clarke came to bat at number 5 in this innings and he from ball 1 got in attack mode as he took apart the English bowling and he hit 7 fours in this innings meaning he rotated the strike very well and in just 106 balls at a strike rate of 93.40 he played a match winning knock that day against one of his favorite opponents in England.
