MS Dhoni – The Name which cricket world will never forget

2004, the guy from Ranchi India who made his entry into the team India after some stunning performance in the domestic cricket. Here are some of the all-time favourite knocks of MS Dhoni’s career.

2004, the guy from Ranchi India who made his entry into the team India after some stunning performance in the domestic cricket but unfortunately he got run out in his first ODI match against Bangladesh without scoring a run. Then from 2004 to 2007 where team India has won the inaugural T20 World Cup under the leadership of ever flamboyant and dashing MS Dhoni batting and great captaincy skills, cricket was completely different. Although from his Debut till the 2007 T20 World Cup there are many knocks of MS Dhoni which made fans around the world to watch his class batting on loop. Here are some mine favourite knocks of MS Dhoni:

I think it was the start of complete different era of cricket with this knock of MS Dhoni.

Some of the all-time favourite knocks of MS Dhoni’s career which today’s generation might not understand what young MS Dhoni was in our childhoods. The kind of Cricket he has started became the emotions for the fans to stick to their TV sets. Later the captaincy has completely changed his batting technique and way to approach to cricket no doubt he’s the best but the young MS Dhoni has brought the different charm to Indian cricket in the mid 2000 era.

Although he was fortunate to be the part of team which boosted up with the players like Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh. Well under the leadership of MS Dhoni’s team India has CB series in Australia and become No 1 test side for the first time and at last won the 2011 world cup after 28 long years. Many things have been changed after the world cup between MS Dhoni and senior players but still team India has reached great heights and won tournaments after like 2013 champions trophy. On his birthday Steve Smith has said,

“Terrific guy. Had the pleasure of playing alongside him at Pune. Great to play alongside. And I saw in my feed today that it is his birthday. So Happy Birthday Mahi! Hope you have a great day buddy,” Steve Smith stated.

While his own team mates from CSK reckons

“MS Dhoni is massive for cricket in the world, if we are being honest. I learnt a lot from him, especially when things were not going well. It is easy for everyone to be happy when the team is winning. But when we are not winning, that is where it really counts. That is when you see the leader come out of him. He is basically the brand of Chennai.”

Now he is not the part of international cricket anymore hope he add more titles to Chennai Super Kings cabinet and hope we see him play in the franchise like Big Bash League in near future.
