Michael Hussey played international cricket from 2004-2013 and in those 9 years he made a big impact. He played 79 Test Matches in 8 years and got 6235 runs at a very good average of 51.53. He got 19 Test hundreds. He also played 185 ODIs for Australia and he scored 5442 runs at an average of 48.16 with 3 ODI hundreds to his name. 195 vs England (2010)


The highest test score in the career of Michael Hussey came in 2010 vs England and he absolutely smashed the England bowling attack to all parts. He played for 330 balls and he hit 26 fours and 1 six in his innings which means a total of 110 runs in boundaries. His strike rate was 59.09 in this innings and he just missed out on his double hundred by just 5 runs but this innings was a special one.

134* vs Pakistan (2010)


It looks like 2010 was a very kind year to Michael Hussey when it comes to test cricket as this innings vs Pakistan was one of his best in test cricket as it came in the 3rd innings of the match and he came at number 4 and he batted for 284 balls and just batted and he hit just 16 fours in this innings and he was striking at a tad over 47. He wanted to bat till the end and bat Pakistan out of the match and due to his incredible innings Australia won this test match by 36 runs.

137 vs West Indies (2005)


This was the first test hundred in the career of Michael Hussey and this was a very special one as he was a new star in the test arena and he immediately made a huge impact in this innings vs West Indies. Australia were batting second after West Indies and Michael Hussey came out to open this innings and he batted for 234 balls and he hit 19 fours in this innings which means a total of 76 runs in boundaries. His strike rate was 58.54 in this innings and he told the world that he needs to be taken seriously.

73 and 89 vs South Africa (2006)


The fourth Innings on our list is one of his best overseas performances and it came against the best South Africa team in 2006 when they had a great bowling attack as well. Michael Hussey in the first batting innings for Australia made a brilliant 73 runs from 153 balls and in this innings he hit 11 fours and his strike rate was 47.71, but his more important Innings came in the fourth Innings when Australia were chasing 294 to win and Michael Hussey stepped up to the challenge and made a sublime 89 runs coming at the top of the order and he faced 197 balls in this innings in which he hit 12 fours at a strike rate of 45.18. He was key to Australia winning this match by 2 wickets.

108 vs Bangladesh (2011)


This is the ODI innings that I have put in this list because this is the 1 innings that led to Australia winning the match and he was the main reason behind it. Australia were batting first in this ODI and Michael Hussey came to bat at number 5 and he just started attacking the bowlers and he faced 91 balls for his 108 and he hit 9 fours and 2 sixes In this innings which means a total of 48 runs in boundaries. His strike rate was an impressive 118.68 and Australia won this match by 66 runs.
