92* vs India (2011)


This is the highest score by Andre Russell in his international career and it came against India in 2011 and even though West Bengal lost this match this innings was a show of his brutal power. He made 92* from just 64 balls coming in at number 9 and he smashed 8 fours and 5 sixes in this innings which means a total of 62 runs in boundaries. His strike rate was an amazing 143.75. This innings made the world take notice of this young player.

59* vs New Zealand (2012)


This was a match winning innings that Andre Russell played in this ODI match. He came to bat at number 9 and he hit 59* important runs from 40 balls and he gave the momentum to the West Indies team. He hit 6 fours and 3 sixes in this innings which means a total of 42 runs in boundaries. He was striking at an impressive 147.50 and due to his efforts West Indies won this match by 20 runs. This was a special knock for him and it gave him a lot of confidence.

64* vs South Africa (2015)


This was one of his best ever innings in international cricket looking at the content of this match and he single handedly won this match for West Indies out of nowhere. West Indies were chasing 263 runs to win and Andre Russell was the last hope and he smashed 64* from just 40 balls and he hit 5 fours and 5 sixes in this innings meaning a total of 50 runs in boundaries and he was striking at 160. West Indies won the match by 1 wicket and it was one of their most famous wins in ODI cricket in the past decade.

4/35 vs India (2011)


The last performance against India in this list resulted in a loss for West Indies but not this time because the way he bowled in this match was amazing and he was the reason West Indies won this match. India were batting first and Andre Russell took 4 wickets In the match while giving away 35 runs in 8.3 overs and it restricted India to 251 which West Indies chased down with 7 wickets remaining. Andre Russell was coming along as a good all rounder who could bat and bowl equally well.

4/45 vs New Zealand (2012)


The 5th performance in this list is also a great bowling performance but this time it was against New Zealand. In this match New Zealand were batting first and Andre Russell never allowed the New Zealand batters to get in any sort of rhythm and kept picking up wickets at regular intervals. He bowled 10 overs for 45 runs and got 4 wickets and West Indies won this match by 9 wickets. Andre Russell was a serious talent and one only wishes that he played more test cricket.
