He has played 103 Test Matches for West Indies and in those he has scored 7214 runs at an average of 42.19 with 15 hundreds and 3 double Hundreds as well as 2 triple Hundreds for West Indies. He has also played 301 ODIs for West Indies and he has got 10480 runs at an average of 37.83 and he has got 25 hundreds and 1 ODI double hundred as well. And in T20I cricket he has played 79 Matches for West Indies and he has made 1899 runs with 2 hundreds. A total of 20,000+ international runs for the West Indies. 317 vs South Africa (2005)


This was the first of the 2 triple Hundreds he got in test cricket and it came against a top class South Africa bowling attack. West Indies were replying to the big score by South Africa in the first innings and Chris Gayle came out to open and he went berserk and just kept hitting the ball for fours and sixes and got runs easily. He faced 483 balls in this innings and he hit 37 fours and 3 sixes which means a total of 166 runs in boundaries and at a strike rate of 65.63. This was a statement triple hundred from him .

333 vs Sri Lanka (2010)


This is his highest international score as well and it came against a very good Sri Lanka team in their home in 2010. West Indies were batting first and Chris Gayle was in a rush to get all the runs as he just hammered the bowling attack to all parts and he faced 437 balls in this innings in which he hit 34 fours and 9 sixes which means a total of 190 runs in boundaries and he was striking at an amazing 76.20 and the world got to see the Destruction of Chris Gayle.

215 vs Zimbabwe (2015)


This is the highest score by Chris Gayle in ODI cricket and it came in the 2015 World Cup against Zimbabwe and this was a brutal innings by the nif man and the Zimbabwe bowlers had no clue what to do that day. Chris Gayle faced only 147 balls in this monster innings and he smashed 10 fours and 16 sixes in this innings which means a total of 136 runs in boundaries and he was striking at an outstanding 146.25 in this Innings. Chris Gayle could have shown some mercy but the Universe Boss was in a mood that day. One of the best ODI innings of all time.

132* vs England (2004)


This innings must not have been heard by a lot of people but it is one of the very best in the career of Chris Gayle as it came against England and at Lord’s and most importantly while chasing a big total of 286 to win in 50 overs. Chris Gayle came out to open in this chase and he immediately got on the attack and put the England bowling on the backfoot and he faced 165 balls in this match winning innings and he hit 12 fours and 1 six at a strike rate of 80 and he won the match for West Indies with 5 balls to spare. It was a chasing Masterclass by the Universe Boss.

100* vs England (2016)


This is one of the 2 T20I hundreds in the career of Chris Gayle but in this innings he won the match single handedly against England in the World Cup in 2016. West Indies were chasing 183 runs to win and Chris Gayle made it look like a walk in the park. He faced only 48 balls for his 100 and he smashed the Bowlers to all parts hitting 5 fours and 11 sixes which means a total of 86 runs in boundaries out of 100. He was batting at a strike rate of 208.33 and he won the match for West Indies with 11 balls to spare. This was a brutal innings by the Boss and every bowler feared him.
