Mitchell Starc has been playing international cricket from 2010 and he has played 71 Test Matches till now and has taken 287 test wickets at an average of 27.63 with 13 Five wicket hauls and 2 times he has taken 10 wickets in a test match. He has also played 104 ODIs for Australia and he has picked up 203 wickets till now with 8 Five wicket hauls in ODI cricket as well and at an average of 22.26. He has also played 51 T20IS for Australia and has got 63 Wickets in that format. In total he has taken over 500 international wickets for Australia. 5/63 vs Sri Lanka (2012)


This was his Second 5 wicket haul in test cricket but the first one where he did not give over 150 runs so this is my first performance and it came against Sri Lanka in 2012 when they were a great team. His performance came in the second innings of the match as well where Sri Lanka needed 393 runs to win and Starc just took wickets at regular intervals and never allowed the Innings to settle and he gave away 63 runs in 28.2 overs and as a result Australia won this test match by 137 Runs.

5/88 vs England (2017)


This is the second performance on this list and it came against England in 2017 and in the 4th innings of the test match as well. England needed 354 runs to win the match and Starc waa just Bowling in the right areas and he got the reward for his bowling as he got 5 Wickets in the Innings and he bowled for 19.2 overs and because of his 5 Wickets it was Australia who won the test match by 120 runs. This was a very special performance for him as he had won an Ashes test match for his nation.

5/34 and 4/75 vs South Africa (2018)


This was one of his best performances in test cricket and this time it came in South Africa against a very good team at home. In the first batting innings for South Africa he got 5 Wickets for just 34 runs in 10.4 overs and no batter was able to play him and as a result they got bowled out for 162 in their first batting innings. In the fourth Innings of the test match where Mitchell Starc has an art of taking wickets he again delivered for Australia as he got 4 very important Wickets in the chase and after bowling for 18 overs he won the match for Australia by 118 runs.

6/43 vs India (2015)


This was one of the best bowling performances by Starc in his ODI career and it came against one of the best teams in India and in this match our of the 8 wickets that fell in the Indian innings Mitchell Starc got 6 of those. He bowled 10 overs and was the class apart from the rest of the bowlers as all the Indian batters got out to him and as a result India were only able to make 267 in the first innings and it was chased down by Australia and Mitchell Starc showed that he was a great in both formats of cricket.

6/28 vs New Zealand (2015)


The 5th performance in this list is from the 2015 World Cup where he was the highest wicket taker and in this match he was at his destructive best and he got 6 Wickets in the New Zealand innings and he bowled just 9 overs in the Innings and only gave away 28 runs but New Zealand won the match by 1 wicket but Mitchell Starc showed that when he is in his element no one comes close and he has shown this in 2 World Cups and he was the highest wicket taker in back to back ODI World Cup events.
