After talking about 2 of the best performances of Indian fast bowlers , it is time to talk about the best fast bowler in the world and the number 1 in test cricket for years and the test captain of Australia and someone who pours his heart out in every match that he plays for Australia and is a role model for all the budding cricketers across the world and all the top batters in the world want to play against him and test their skills and I am talking about none other than Pat Cummins. We will talk about his records till now below and he will also play for 5-6 more years and then we will update this list.
Pat Cummins made his debut in international cricket in 2011 but he had to go through lots of injuries and only in the past 3-4 years has he played consistently for Australia. He has played 43 Test Matches till now and has taken 199 test wickets so far and will get his 200th in the next test match that he plays. He took these wickets at an average of 21.66 and he has 7 Five wicket hauls and 1 time he has taken 10 wickets in a test match. 6/79 vs South Africa (2011)
In his first test match and that too overseas Pat Cummins took his first 5 wicket haul in the second innings of his first test match and what an important moment to get those. The match was in the balance and his spell in the second batting innings of South Africa made the difference. He bowled for 29 overs in this innings giving away 79 runs and he got 6 very important Wickets which resulted in a chase for Australia of 310 which they won by 2 wickets. Pat Cummins was one of the main reasons for this win.

4/80 and 4/39 vs England (2018)
There was a big gap between his first test match and his second but from 2018 onwards he hasn’t looked back. In this test match vs England he didn’t get a 5 wicket haul but picked up 4 wickets in each Innings for a total of 8 un the match. In the first innings he got 4 wickets for 80 runs while bowling for 24.3 overs and thus restricted England to under 350. Then in the third Innings of the test match he was at his rampaging best and he got 4 wickets again but this time he gave away only 39 runs in 17 overs so a vast improvement from the first innings and Australia won the match by an innings and 123 runs.

4/39 and 6/23 vs Sri Lanka (2019)
This is the best bowling performance by Pat Cummins in a test match where he got 10 wickets in the test match and it was against Sri Lanka. In the first innings Sri Lanka were bowled out for 144 runs and Pat Cummins took 4 wickets for 39 runs in 14.4 overs but he saved his best performance for the second innings where he destroyed the Sri Lankan batting order in 15 overs of fast bowling and he gave away only 27 runs and took 6 wickets and aa a result Australia won the match by an innings and 40 runs and Pat Cummins was the main reason behind such a win.

5/28 vs England (2021)
The fourth performance on this list is also against England and it came 9 months ago in MCG where he was in his best form and the English team has no chance against him. In the first innings of the test match England were clueless about what to do in this match and Pat Cummins took full advantage of it and in 13.1 overs of great fast bowling and giving away only 28 runs he got 5 Wickets and decimated the famed English batting line-up so much that they could not recover and Australia won the match by 9 wickets.

5/70 vs India (2019)
This was a really high scoring match and for Pat Cummins to take a 5 wicket haul in this ODI speaks volumes to the level of talent he has in his bowling. He also went for runs but got 5 important Wickets in this ODI and he bowled 10 overs and was the only bowler in this match who looked like taking wickets. This was a special performance in a batting beauty and hopefully he will get more 5 wicket hauls in ODI cricket as well in the future.
