Stefan Edberg was facing Jim Courier and he dominated him and won the match in 3 sets by 6-2,6-4 and 6-0. This was the 3rd different Grand Slam which he had won in his career.

4) 1987 Australian Open Men’s Singles Final


This was one of the best Matches In the career of Stefan Edberg as it was one of those rare 5 set thrillers in a Grand Slam final. This was the 1990 Australian Open and his opponent was Pat Cash. The first set was won by Stefan Edberg 6-3 and the second set as well by 6-4 but then Pat Cash started making his comeback in the match and he won the next 2 sets 3-6 and 5-7 and it was everything to play for in the final set. Stefan Edberg had a little more left and he won the 5th set 6-3 and won his second Australian Open title.

5) 1990 Wimbledon Men’s Singles Final


This was perhaps the hardest Grand Slam Final in the career of Stefan Edberg because he was facing peak Boris Becker in the final at Wimbledon. This was a 5 set classic and this match had everything.
