He has 13 five-fors and a solitary 10-wicket haul to his name.

Starc stands out when it comes to performing in the ICC tournaments (World Cup, Champions Trophy and T20 World Cup). He has picked up 79 wickets in all the ICC events. Notably, 55 of these wickets have been registered in the 50-over WC and Champions Trophy. Meanwhile, Boult owns 59 wickets from 30 matches.


In 2019, Starc surpassed Glenn McGrath's tally of most wickets in a single World Cup edition. He finished with 27 wickets in 10 matches and averaged 18.59. McGrath held the record previously, with 26 wickets in the 2007 edition. Also during the 2019 world cup Boult became the first bowler for New Zealand to take a hat-trick in the Cricket World Cup.
