India did not get the perfect start

India were batting first and they did not get the perfect start as the openers could not get fast runs and India lost 2 wickets at the score of 41 in 8 overs and only 12 overs were left and it was looking like Australia would get an easy score to chase and get into the final but at number 4 came Yuvraj Singh and the match changed on its head.

The Yuvraj Singh Show

Yuvraj Singh came to the crease and the momentum of the match completely changed as he started hitting fours and sixes all around the ground and he hit one to Brett Lee and that went for 119 meters which was the longest six in that World Cup. He showed no mercy on the bowlers as in just 20 balls he brought up his 50 and in total he faced 30 balls and hit 70 runs in what was one of the most important innings of that World Cup. He hit 5 fours and 5 massive sixes which means he hit 50 runs in Boundaries.

Sreesanth and the bowlers help India reach the final

India made 188 in 20 overs and now it was the turn of Australia to bat and they got off to the perfect start and it was looking all too easy for them but the young blood of India was not ready to give up and then Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh were the heroes for India. Sreesanth only gave away 12 runs in 4 overs and he took 2 wickets and Irfan Pathan and Joginder Sharma also took 2 wickets each and Bhajji got the important wicket of Michael Clarke and in the end India won the match by 15 runs.
