The first ODI innings on this list is against England in 2013 when Sri Lanka had to chase a stiff target of 294 to win and Kumar Sangakkara stood up for his nation and ensured that he was there right till the end and made his team win. He blasted 134* from just 135 balls at a strike rate of 99.26 and he hit only 12 fours which means he had to do a lot If running and he chased down the total with almost 3 overs left. 169 vs South Africa (2013)
The last innings on our list is his highest score In ODIs and it was a great innings against a good South Africa bowling attack. Sri Lanka were batting first in this match and Kumar Sangakkara obliterated the bowling to all parts as in 137 balls only he made 169 runs and he batted at a strike rate of 123.36. He also hit 18 fours and 6 sixes meaning a total of 108 runs in boundaries and Sri Lanka won that match by 180 runs or Kumar Sangakkara won the match by 29 runs as he outscored the whole South Africa team in this match.
