148 and 81 vs Australia (1997)


This was the first test hundred for Rahul Dravid and not only that in this match he scored a total of 229 runs which is amazing and that too at Johannesburg. In the first innings he came to bat at number 3 and was the standout batter in the Indian team and he made a brilliant 148 from 462 balls and in this innings he hit 21 fours and he had a strike rate of 40.88. This was a statement that he had arrived. And he was not finished here as in the second batting innings he again made a match saving 81 and this time he took 146 balls and he hit 11 fours and his strike rate was over 55.

190 and 103* vs New Zealand (1999)


India were batting in the second innings of the match and at number 3 came Rahul Dravid and once again he was the star in this match as it was another brilliant away performance but this time in New Zealand. He scored 190 runs in the first batting innings and he batted for 353 balls and in this innings he hit 31 fours which means a total of 124 runs in boundaries. He had a strike rate of 53.82. In the 4th innings of the match Rahul Dravid again was the savior of India and this time he was batting in an aggressive manner and in just 136 balls while hitting 16 fours meaning 64 runs in boundaries and at a strike rate of over 85, he made 103* and a total of 293 runs in the match.

180 vs Australia (2001)


This list would be incomplete without this innings that Rahul Dravid played in 2001 in the most historic test match and he had fever while hitting. In this match India were down and out but in Day 4 Rahul Dravid showed why he is one of the best in the world as with VVS Laxman he batted for more than a day and made the most important 180 runs in 353 balls while hitting 20 fours meaning 80 runs in boundaries and he has a strike rate of 50.99 and India won this test match by 171 runs. This is an innings that he will always remember.

217 vs England (2002)


The 4th innings in this list is yet another great away Innings and this time it was in England and in 2002 Rahul Dravid was in form. India was batting in the second innings of the match and at number 3 Rahul Dravid batted for 468 balls in this marathon innings where he hit 28 Fours meaning 112 runs in boundaries and he had a strike rate of 46.37. This was an innings of pure dedication and will and he made sure that India did not lose this test match. An incredible batting performance.

233 and 72* vs Australia (2003)


The 5th performance in this list might be one of his best ever as this time he created magic in Australia so in this list Rahul Dravid has Performances in 5 different nations and all the SENA nations are included in this list. In the first innings Rahul Dravid made 233 runs from 446 balls and Australia was unable to get him out and he hit 23 fours and 1 six at a strike rate of 52.24 and he made sure that India stay ahead in the match and then in the all important 4th innings he made 72* and stayed till the end to make sure that India won the match by 4 wickets and he made 305 runs in the match.
