They might not have the best teams in either test Cricket or ODI Cricket but in the shortest format they have had a team that could beat anyone. They have won the 2009 T20I World Cup. In recent years they might not have done well but they cannot be counted out. They will be tested in the upcoming Asia Cup.

Opening Batters


Mohammad Rizwan (WK)


The opening batter and the Wicket keeper in this team will be Mohammad Rizwan. He has been one of the best batters that Pakistan cricket has seen in this format. Babar Azam (C)


The second highest run getter in T20I Cricket has to be there in the team. Babar Azam is easily the best batsman that Pakistan has seen in this format. He has so far played in 124 T20Is for Pakistan. He has scored 4223 runs at an average of 39.84. Babar Azam has hit 3 centuries in T20I Cricket along with 36 half centuries. He has a highest score of 122. Babar Azam has a strike rate of 129.22 and he has hit 73 sixes for Pakistan. He is not in the team for the Asia Cup. He will be the captain of this team.


Mohammad Hafeez


Mohammad Hafeez is the first pure all rounder in this team. He was a batter who could bowl off spin very well. He played 119 T20Is for Pakistan in his career. Shahid Afridi


The greatest all rounder to everyone plays white ball cricket for Pakistan. Shahid Afridi was an important part of the 2009 World Cup winning team. Shaheen Shah Afridi
