Pakistan won the 1992 World Cup under the captaincy of Imran Khan and they had players such as Wasim Akram, Javed Miandad etc. In recent years they have sharply fallen in quality and they do not even qualify for the Top 4.

Saeed Anwar


This was the format where Saeed Anwar showed his true class for Pakistan. He was the best opening batter that Pakistan cricket has seen in ODIs. He has played 247 ODIs for Pakistan In his career. He scored 8824 runs at an average of 39.22. Saeed Anwar hit 20 hundreds in ODI Cricket including a massive score of 194 which was the highest score in ODI Cricket for many years. He especially loved batting against India and used to score hundreds against them. Pakistan have not had an opening batter with as much consistency as this man.


Fakhar Zaman


The Second opening batter for Pakistan in this team will be Fakhar Zaman. He has been the closest to a great opening batter in this generation. He can turn any match on his own and win any match. He has played 86 ODIs for Pakistan and he has scored 3651 runs. Fakhar Zaman has an average of 46.22 and he has hit 11 hundreds in ODI Cricket. He has a highest score of 210*. Babar Azam


At number 3 will be Babar Azam. He has been the standout player in this current generation. Babar Azam has owned the ODI format and he still has a few years left to stamp his authority. He has so far played 134 ODIs for Pakistan. In those Matches he has made 6291 runs at a very good average of 54.23. Babar Azam has hit 19 hundreds in ODI Cricket and he will look to get close to 30 hundreds and 9000 runs by the time his career finishes. Javed Miandad


At number 4 will be the inimitable Javed Miandad. He was also in the All Time Test Cricket XI and here he is in the ODI XI. He was an important member of the 1992 World Cup winning team. Javed Miandad played 233 ODIs for Pakistan. He scored 7381 runs at an average of 41.70. Javed Miandad hit 9 hundreds in ODI Cricket. He was a batter that Imran Khan could rely upon to give the experience and he was also a leader on the field. Without Javed Miandad, Pakistan cricket would not be at the position it is today.


Inzamam Ul Haq


At number 5 is perhaps one of the greatest batters that Pakistan has seen in this format. Inzamam Ul Haq was a run machine. He played 378 ODIs for Pakistan. He made 11739 runs at an average of 39.53. Inzamam Ul Haq hit 10 hundreds in ODI Cricket but he had 83 scores of over 50 meaning he loved hitting half centuries and winning Matches for Pakistan. He was so good that he was compared to Sachin Tendulkar in the 2000s.


Imran Khan (C)


Imran Khan is the captain of this team. He is the best all rounder in this team. Imran Khan is the talisman for Pakistan cricket. He played 175 ODIs in his career. Imran Khan made 3709 runs at an average of 33.09. He scored only 1 hundred in ODI Cricket. Imran Khan was also one of the best Bowlers. He took 182 Wickets at an average of 26.62. He was the man that inspired the team to win the 1992 World Cup. He is regarded as one of the greatest Pakistani cricketers of all time.

Moin Khan (WK)


The wicket Keeper in this team is Moin Khan. He has been the most successful wicket keeper batter that Pakistan has seen in this format. He played 219 Matches in his career. Wasim Akram


The best fast bowler to ever play ODI Cricket. He is only one of 2 men to go past the 500 Wickets mark in ODI Cricket. Wasim Akram was the man for Pakistan. He played 356 Matches for Pakistan. Waqar Younis


His bowling partner Waqar Younis is the second fast bowler in this team. Waqar Younis is one of 4 bowlers to take more than 400 wickets. He played 262 Matches for Pakistan. In those Matches he took 416 wickets at an average of 23.84. Waqar Younis took 13 Five Wicket Hauls in his career which is the most by a bowler in this format. Shoaib Akhtar
