Shivnaraine Chanderpaul played international cricket for the West Indies from 1994-2015. He played 164 Test Matches which is one of the most ever played and he scored 11867 test runs. A look at his best innings.

Ramnaresh Sarwan played international cricket from 2000-2013 and in those 13 years he scored a lot of runs and he played 87 test matches during his career and he scored 5842 test runs at an average of 40.01 with 15 test hundreds and 2 double hundreds in test cricket. He also played 181 ODIs for West Indies and he made 5804 runs at an average of 42.68 with 5 ODI hundreds. He made a total of more than 11000+ runs in international cricket for West Indies. 105 vs Australia (2003)


This was his second test hundred but this was the Innings that gave him a lot of respect from the cricketing world and he was a force to be taken seriously. In this match West Indies needed 418 runs to chase in the 4th innings and Sarwan was the star with 105 runs in 139 balls and he hit 27 fours in this innings and he batted at a very good strike rate of over 75 and he made sure that West Indies made the historic chase and won the match by 3 wickets against the best Australian team ever. It was a memorable innings.

261* vs Bangladesh (2004)


This is the first double hundred in the test career of Sarwan and what a mammoth innings it was as he ripped apart the Bangladesh bowlers and made 261* from 402 balls and he hit 32 fours in this innings which means a total of 128 runs in boundaries. His strike rate was an impressive 64.93 and he was in attack mode and no bowler could get him out for over 400 balls and this knock put Sarwan in a different league and from here on it was upwards for this batter.

291 vs England (2009)


This is the highest score in the career of Ramnaresh Sarwan and it came against a great England bowling in 2009 and he was in no mood to get out . West Indies were replying to England and he came out to bat at number 3 and since the time he came out he hit fours and sixes all around the ground and he batted for 452 balls and he made a monstrous 291 runs with the help of 30 Fours and 2 sixes which means a total of 132 runs in boundaries. His strike rate was 64.38 and he got out just 9 runs before his 300 but still it was one of the best by a West Indies batter in test cricket.

102* vs Bangladesh (2002)


This was the first ODI hundred in the career of Sarwan and it came against a good Bangladesh team in 2002. West Indies were batting first and he came in at number 4 and just took on the bowling and he hit 11 fours in thus Innings meaning he ran 56 runs in one’s and twos and he played this innings at a strike rate of 102 which is amazing. He was not out and he made a statement that he was a good player of both formats of cricket.

115* vs India (2006)


The last performance in this list is against India and in this match Sarwan was chasing a score of 246 to win in 50 overs and he was cool as a cucumber. He came to bat at number 4 in this innings and he showed his class from ball 1 and the Indian bowlers had no answers to the skills he was showing and he played 119 balls and he hit 10 fours and 2 sixes in this innings meaning a total of 52 runs in boundaries. His strike rate was 96.64 and he made sure he was not out and took West Indies over the line by 4 wickets.
