1) 107 vs South Africa (2005)


This was his first test hundred and he was determined to show that he can score runs at the highest level. He smashed this hundred against South Africa in 2005. He was batting at number 7. He took 235 balls in this innings to hit 107 Runs. He hit 13 fours in this innings meaning 52 runs in boundaries. He had a strike rate of 45.53 in this innings. He took on the best bowlers such as Shaun Pollock, Makhaya Ntini, Jacques Kallis. He was not alone as Chris Gayle scored a triple century in this innings as he hit 317 runs.
