1) 139 vs West Indies (2004)
This was the best ODI performance of Jacques Kallis in his career. He was in a difficult spot in this match because West Indies had made 304 runs in 50 overs and out of that Chris Gayle played one of his best innings and made 152 not out. South Africa had a big target but Kallis at number 3 played a match winning innings. He smashed 139 runs from 142 balls at a strike rate of 97.69. He hit 11 fours and 3 sixes in this innings meaning a total of 62 runs in boundaries. Graeme Smith made 58 Runs at the top and South Africa won this match by 4 wickets with 2 balls remaining.
2) 109* vs Pakistan (1998)
The first ODI hundred that Kallis scored was in 1998 against Pakistan. This was a Pakistani Team that had Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis. Kallis was batting at number 5 in this innings. He made an unbeaten 109 runs from 114 balls. He hit 8 fours in this innings meaning 32 runs in boundaries. He ran for 77 runs in this innings and yet he was striking at 95.61. Jonty Rhodes also made a brilliant 94 not out. South Africa won this match by 52 runs.
3) 125* vs Zimbabwe (2003)
This was one of his best innings that he has played in ODI Cricket. This was against the best Zimbabwe team which had a lot of great players. South Africa were batting first and Kallis was far and away the highest scorer with 125 not out. He faced 147 balls in this innings meaning almost half the balls in the innings. He hit 14 fours and 1 six in this innings which means he hit 62 runs in boundaries. He was supported by Andrew Hall who made 56 and South Africa made 272. They won the match by 46 Runs.
4) 5/30 vs West Indies (1998)
Jacques Kallis was more than a handy bowler during his time. He was one of the best all rounders in the world. He absolutely destroyed the West Indies in this match. He bowled 7.3 overs and he took 5 wickets for 30 runs at 4 runs per over. Kallis took the wickets of Carl Hooper, Phil Simmons and others. He made sure that the West Indies were all out for 246. The South Africa Batters won this match by 4 Wickets. This was the first 5 Wicket Haul for Jacques Kallis in ODI Cricket.
5) 5/41 vs Pakistan (2002)
The second 5 Wicket Haul that he took in his ODI Career was in this match against Pakistan. Kallis was someone who would contribute in every match with either bat or ball. He bowled 8.4 overs in this innings and he gave away 41 runs and he took 5 wickets and broke the back of the Pakistan batting. He got the wickets of Mohammad Yousuf, Inzamam Ul Haq, Abdul Razzaq, Shahid Afridi in this innings. South Africa won this match by 34 Runs.
