Since we are talking about the best performances of English cricket legends, then we cannot leave out this legend that we will be talking about now. He has along with Jimmy Anderson been the most successful fast bowling pair in the history of test cricket and he has been extremely successful in ODI cricket as well and just like his bowling partner he is still going strong and would love to touch the 600 test wickets mark and join Jimmy Anderson in that list.
Stuart Broad is one of the best characters in the game of cricket as well who does not shy away from speaking his mind and he has done things especially In test cricket that not many fast bowlers have been able to do for a long period of time and he can still play for a good 2-3 years. Let’s look at his Top 5 Best bowling performances..
8/15 vs Australia (2015)
This is the career best bowling performance by Stuart Broad and it came in the Ashes against Australia in 2015 at Trent Bridge and this was one of those spells of fast bowling where the batting line-up was blown away by one bowler and he only gave away 15 runs while taking 8 wickets in the innings. Australia were batting first in this test match and their great batting order got bowled out for just 60 runs within 19 overs of batting and it was the great Stuart Broad who did 80% of the damage and all the England fans were loving every second of it.

The best bowling figures of Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad in ODIs are identical and it’s fitting in a way that these two absolute legends of cricket are similar.
