Mohammad Kaif was born on 1st December 1980 in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. He was a big fan of cricket since the time India won the 1073 World Cup and that time he was 3 years old and later on he got the skills and the proper training and he fulfilled his dream of playing for India. Mohammad Kaif is 5 ft 11 inches in height which allowed to dive and get to the ball faster in the field and get on top of the ball while batting. Other than being a batter he was also a right arm off break bowler who bowled seldom.

International Information


Mohammad Kaif played for India from 2000-2006 and in those 6 years he left an unique mark for himself. He played his first test match on 2nd March 2000 vs South Africa and after just 6 years he played his last year match against West Indies on 30th June 2006. He was Cap number 228 for India in test cricket. He played his first ODI on 28th January 2002 vs England and after almost 5 years he played his last ODI match vs South Africa on 29th November 2006. He never got to play T20I cricket for India.
