The most legendary batting duo of Sri Lankan cricket is the second best batting partnership In test cricket history. Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara are the second most successful batting pair in 6554 runs. They had an average of 56.50 and they have scored 21 hundred run partnerships and 27 half century stands. 3) Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes - 6482 Runs


They are one of the most legendary batting pairs in one of the greatest test teams of the West Indies. Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes were the pair that stoked dear in the opposition as they made 6482 Runs in 148 Test Innings they Batted together. They had an average of 47.18 and they had 17 century run partnerships as well as 26 half century partnerships. They had a best partnership of 298.


4) Matthew Hayden and Justin Langer – 6081 Runs

Both of them were left handers but played in a totally different manner. They made 6081 runs in 122 innings.
